CARRIE MAURIELLO
Carrie Mauriello is a high school English teacher with a BA in English and a minor in political science, as well as a Master’s degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in gender, cultural, and religious studies. She is a daughter of the great Battle Born state of Nevada where she lives with her family and her hometown hockey team, the Vegas Golden Knights. Carrie loves concerts, meteor showers, chai tea, and reading her horoscope. Add to the list independent films, 80s music, poetry, turquoise, and any body of water, but her greatest temptation is a full tank of gas.
Carrie’s debut novel, The Setting Sun, was named a longlist honoree in the 2020 Dzanc fiction contest for her considerable skill in writing.
